Real Madrid May Try To Pip Barcelona To Sign Fabregas

Real Madrid may meet Arsenal's asking price of £45m for long time Barcelona target, Cesc Fabregas.

It is understood that Real Madrid value Fabregas higher than Barcelona and would bid the £45m that Arsenal want, in order to sign Cesc ahead of Barcelona.

it is unclear whether Fabregas would chose to go to Real ahead of his hometown club but the interest from Real Madrid does make things more complicated, as it means Barcelona will now have to match any bid made by Real for the Spanish football star.

Midfielder Victor Sanchez Released By Barcelona

Twenty three year old Victor Sanchez has parted company with Barcelona by mutual consent.

The midfielder has found first team opportunities hard to come by at the Nou Camp and has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Xerez and Gerafe.

According to SkySports, Barcelona and Victor Sanchez have reached an agreement which will see the midfielder's contract rescinded.

Both parties feel the time has come for a change and have opted to go their separate ways.
